VW Thing engine compartment Lower Crossmember. The brake light wires run behind it and The Deck Lid Latch (not included) mounts to it.
It welds to inside of the engine compartment. It has a bracket for the Deck Lid Latch to mount to. It also has a pin for the Deck Lid Rod and bracket to hold Deck Lid Rod welded to it.
