These wiper blades have a removable/replaceable rubber insert. The original Thing wiper blades did not allow you to replace the rubber part. These wiper blades are a more convenient alternative to the originals. You can stock up on the Rubber Inserts so that you have new ones to put on every season. This wiper blade attaches to the original wiper arm the same as the original wiper blades.
