Upgrade or replace your rear stub axle with this quality replacement for the 1973–1974 VW Thing. This stub axle connects to the CV joint and passes through the control arm as part of the rear suspension and drivetrain. The splined end secures the wheel assembly, and the axle nut holds the brake drum in place.
