These are the end caps that are on top of your doors and the backs of your rear seats. More than likely you’re missing some because of their plastic construction. They have the same original linen finish as our body beading.
The original VW Thing body beading was trimmed at the bottom (with razor blade?) so that the end caps would fit on tightly, but not raise the beading ends too high.
